Ed Scott
Ed Scott is a native of Eastover, SC and attended Lower Richland High School.
In high school, he was the 4A player of the year in the state of SC in his senior year and helped lead his team to the State
Championship in 1999. At Clemson, he was named first team All-ACC, the first Clemson point guard in 43 years to be
a first selection and just the 10th player in Clemson history to be first team All-ACC. He was also a member of the
US Basketball Writers All-District Team. In February 2003, he was the first Clemson player to ever be named ACC player
of the week for 2 consecutive weeks. He was Clemson's leading scorer with 18 points per game and the leader in assists
with 5.5 per game. Scott is also a 38% three point shooter and had a career high 36 points against Florida State this
year.
